END-OF-SUMMER PEACH, YOGURT & PROTEIN SMOOTHIE

I’m on a bit of a kick to use the last of the summer fruit before fully leaning into fall, and this peach smoothie has been my absolute go-to these past couple of weeks.

Creamy peach protein smoothie with cinnamon in morning sunlight beside a bowl of fresh fruit.

It’s fresh, creamy, just sweet enough and, with the added protein, has become one of my favourite post morning walk & workout breakfasts. It tastes like summer, and actually keeps me going through the morning — which is exactly what I want after a workout.

Easy, yummy, healthy & mess free!

YOU’LL NEED

  • 1 cup frozen peaches

  • ½ banana

  • ½ cup vanilla skyr or Greek yogurt

  • 1 serving protein powder

  • ½–¾ cup cold water

  • Cinnamon & nutmeg (optional — you do you)

  • A handful of ice

Throw everything in a blender, blend until creamy and you’re done. You can always add a little more water if needed, depending on how thick you like your smoothies.

I enjoy mine in a glass jar, with an extra sprinkle of cinnamon & a dash of nutmeg for that perfect end-of-summer / early autumn taste. Basically the best of both worlds!

And if you're anything like me and love a quick, protein-packed meal that doesn't require much fuss, my really good crunchy tuna salad sandwich is another lunchtime favourite!
